[Some time after your character dies, they will wake up in their bunk in camp. But something is wrong here, so very wrong.

Venture outside, and you will see that you're still in camp, but it's trapped in a foggy twilight. Time doesn't seem to pass, and it's quiet. Too quiet. No animals, no breeze, nothing.

The only sign of anything living is in the trees, where dozens and dozens of ghostly figures roam. Sometimes they might come into camp, but you'll probably have to go out to meet them if you want to talk to them. They all seem to be watching camp, but are shy and might flicker away if they're approached.

Finally, in the chapel in the lodge, there is a shadowy figure. It looks like a preteen, perhaps? Maybe 11 or 12 or so. But that's about all you can get from it at a glance.

But you're here now, and there are things to do. Where will you start?]

[As Clarke hugs him, Lance returns it. Lightly at first, but he can't quite bring himself to keep up a nonexistent facade of not needing this right now, so he hugs tighter. It's embarrassing on some level -- how many times has he even cried around Clarke? And how many times has Clarke cried around him in comparison? The inequality feels like yet another reminder of how weak he is, but then he's so far past the point of caring that even that piece of running monologue rolls right off his back.]

Hey— you don't need to apologize to me, it's okay if you need a bit more time. [she might not know the full extent of why he is upset but she can tell he really needs the hug]

[He shakes his head at that.]

...That's kinda the one thing we don't really have a lot of, isn't it? Camp's going to be over soon and... [He breathes out, trying to push back other thoughts by giving his head a smack.]

I can... think about Shiro as long as want to if we fail. We'll have way too much time then.

[He says and doesn't actually let go. Mixed messages ahoy.]

[clarke does notice that but she doesn't comment on how he hasn't pull back from the hug either. technically lance isn't wrong that they don't really have a lot of time before camp is over but she refuses to think negatively about their circumstances] You're right, it's not something we have a lot of but— we're going to make it through this though and not fail.

[He repeats that after her, dully but still in the affirmative. And then he makes a noise that could either be a laugh or a sob; hard to tell.]

...you know, I was never scared of going back home before this? It's what I wanted this whole time, but... now I... [He's babbling. He can't make Clarke understand like this.]

At the end of our last battle with the Galra, Shiro - our leader - Shiro...disappeared. I...I... I just can't believe he was here this whole time. Dead... for god knows how long.... I- the timeline doesn't even make sense.
